“The Lord is Greater, Higher and Bigger”

I know, we sometimes think it is our accomplishments or compliments that make us successful in this world which is nothing wrong with being recognized. The question is have we ever thought about who is greater, higher and bigger in our life besides our human abilities?

Exodus 18:8-11 NKJV - And Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel’s sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the Lord had delivered them. Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the Lord had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.  And Jethro said, “Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians. Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.”

In these verses, Jethro the father-in-law of Moses heard him testify that God delivered them out of the hands of Pharaoh and he believed the report from Moses, I can sense the excitement and enthusiasm in Moses voice when He was sharing. It touched his father-in-law's heart. Has anyone shared their testimony with you on how God brought them through different challenges in their life? They thought this was the end for them but by the grace, mercy and love of God they overcame life obstacles. We must continue to testify with excitement and enthusiasm that The Lord is Greater, higher and bigger.

He is so high we can't get over Him, He is so wide we can't get around Him, He is so low we can't get under Him. The only way we can get to God is through His Son Jesus Christ, He is the door to and for our Salvation. John 14:5&6 NKJV - Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

In Luke 8:27-28 NJKV - And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!” If the demon recognizes Jesus as the Son of the Most High God, why aren't we as believers recognizing He is the Son of the Most High God.

As we journey through this world with amazing acoelomates that we show to others let us not forget to give God all the praise through His Son Jesus. Psalm 63:3-4 NKJV - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
