“Thoughts and Prayers”
Have you ever wondered why we say my thoughts and prayers are with you? What does these mean? Thoughts, "I was thinking about you today". Prayers, "I will communicate with God, a higher power to give you strength to endure".

Philippians 1: 3-4 (NLT) Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy.

"Weathering the Storm"

We may have heard the phrase "Weathering the Storm". This is a reference to a ship surviving a storm at sea. It is also referred to enduring difficult challenges that want to stop us from seeking God's Plan in our life. Resilience (strength) and perseverance (continue on) must be deeply rooted by faith in our heart.
It was announced in my area that there was a snow and ice storm coming. As I prepared naturally I notice that some of the shelves in the grocery store were empty of needed items, but thanks be to God His Word is not. Philippian 4:19 (NKJV) - And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. The righteous always gives God the Glory in the midst of a Storm that will end with peace. Praise is what children of God do in Jesus Name.
Isaiah 4:6 (NKJV) - It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain.

Psalm 89:9 (NKJV) - You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them.

Psalms 107:29-31(NIV) He stilled the storm to a whisper: the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.

"Jesus Christ, True Vine:
Father God, Vinedresser"

In the natural, a vine is a flexible stem that is attached to a plant (example a ivy plant), that grows and climbs up any fixture or surrounding area like a building. Spiritually Jesus Christ, is the true vine of our spiritual being. His Father is the vinedresser, the one who prunes and protects the heavenly fruit that we bear from our (Godly branches). John 15:1-2 (NKJV) “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Without God and His Son Jesus Christ, we can do nothing in our strength or the ability to move in our own strength: John 15:5-8 (NKJV)“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

We must stay connected to God the supreme being through His Son Jesus Christ so that the much fruit we are bearing is love, joy, peace,
forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatian 5:22-23 (NIV)
